Photospot 2 - Paul Windle locomotives

Paul Windle locomotives.

During the 1990's and up until 2017, Paul Windle of Hull built ready-to-run British style locomotives and railcars to order, at a time when there was nothing else of it's type available.  He has now retired, but I (and many others) owe him a great debt of gratitude for building such marvellous models.  He was always willing to help, and often built special modified, or one-off locomotives.  I bought several of his smaller locomotives and here is a selection.

"Lancelot" was a Peckett saddle tank but with tram skirts to hide a Kato 4w chassis in place of the normal 0-6-0 chassis.  Here seen on "Ellerbank".

Photographed on "Samson Vale","Ludo" was a lovely little Bagnall "Jessie" 2-4-0 running on a Bachmann 0-4-0 chassis.

Sentinel tram loco running on a 4 wheeled Halling chassis.

"Leo" - a tiny Barclay Wing Tank using a Bachmann 0-4-0 chassis.

"Lottie" was Paul's "Toby the Tram" type engine and runs on a Bachmann 0-6-0 Plymouth diesel.

The Sharp Stewart Tram loco running on the reliable Bachmann Plymouth Dock shunter chassis.
